Enjoy some of the finest Japanese food in the region all while supporting CMU students!  This exclusive opportunity is limited to 60 people.  Suehiro's is opening their doors just for this event and is creating a custom sampling menu that will feature appetizers, custom sushi rolls and sake pairings.  

4pm - Doors open and cash bar 

4:30pm - Guests will be seated for multiple course sampling menu with chef descriptions  and sake pairings

6:30pm - Event ends  

The Mouth Watering Menu:

Miso Soup: Traditional Japanese soup made with dashi (fish stock), miso, tofu, and green onions.
Edamame: Steamed and lightly salted soybeans served in the pod.
Dynamite Shrimp: Shrimp baked in a spicy sauce, served over rice.

Main Courses:
Poison Ivy: Shrimp tempura, kanikama (Japanese imitation crab meat), and cucumber topped with tuna, avocado, kaiso, masago (seaweed salad), dynamite sauce, and unagi (eel sauce).
Sake pairing: Diamond Junmai Ginjo

Two Face: Tempura shrimp, jalapeno, cream cheese and **kanikama (Japanese imitation crab meat) roll topped with avocado, grilled beef, ebi (shrimp), Sriracha, tataki seasoning and unagi (eel sauce).
Sake pairing: Pearl Sake

Yellowtail Sashimi, New Style: Cuts of seared yellowtail topped with jalapeno, picketed red onion, and grape seed oil.
Sake pairing: Plum Sake

Japanese Style Lamb: Panko crusted lamb in a hibachi ginger sauce and miso beurre blanc, seasoned with Asian spices
Sake pairing: Asian Pear Infused Gingo

Chai Tea Crème Brulee: Chai tea infused crème brulee
