CMU Montrose Campus Giving

Giving to CMU Montrose is a wonderful way to support students and the growth of our community. Alumni of CMU Montrose teach in the local school district and care for patients at the neighborhood hospital. They work locally in professions vital to our community, professions such as construction, manufacturing, energy, business, community services and more.

There are several ways to give to CMU Montrose. Regardless of how you give, the process is easy and straightforward.

Scholarships

Doyle E. Burns Endowment

In 2014, CMU launched the Doyle E. Burns Endowment, which funds scholarships exclusively for students at the CMU Montrose campus. Each year, interest earned from the endowment funds scholarships for as many as 20 students. As the endowment grows through donations, more students receive scholarships and the amount of the scholarship awards increase.

For more information about giving to the scholarship fund please contact Rick Adleman at 970.248.1871 or radleman@coloradomesa.edu

Start Your Own Scholarship

Another option to support CMU Montrose students is to establish your own scholarship. You have the option to have your scholarship managed by your organization or managed by the CMU Foundation.  A number of service organizations and corporations have established scholarships specifically for CMU Montrose students.  These scholarships include Altrusa International, Buell Foundation, Alpine Bank, and the Workman-Loss Scholarship.  For more information please contact Rick Adleman at 970.248.1871 or radleman@coloradomesa.edu .

Endowments

Donors may create a named endowment like the Doyle E. Burns Endowment with the CMU Foundation with a gift of $25,000 or more. Your endowment gift generates interest earnings to support scholarships or academic programs for many years to come.
