An Olympic gold medalist and a career banker met in the late 1970s and shared a love of running long before running was popular. Frank Shorter and Steve Bosley joined forces and, in 1979, founded the Bolder Boulder, a 10K road race that draws more than 50,000 amateur and professional runners from around the globe, as well as an estimated 50,000 spectators. Come hear their stories at the inaugural presentation of the Bill and Mai Robinson Lecture Series.
Maverick Mile Fun Run

CMU Plaza
Bring your family to CMU for the Maverick Mile, a fun run around the perimeter of the campus followed by family fun activities on the Plaza. This is a FREE event open to the community and walkers and runners of all ages are welcome. There is no need to register for the fun run, but if you are participating please plan to meet on the plaza at 8:30am.
