Homecoming Campus Spirit Contest

Help celebrate Mav Month and Homecoming by participating in the School Spirit Contest! Enter your department, residence hall or office for a chance to claim the traveling trophy, bragging rights and breakfast for your whole group!   

When:
Decorations can be hung anytime beginning on Friday, October 1st and the judging will take place on the morning of Wednesday, October 18th.

How to Enter:
Individual faculty/staff, departments, buildings or areas should register below by, October 16th to be considered for judging.  *Departments not on the main campus are able to submit photos and/or videos for judging, please email your photos to [email protected]. 

Judging

60% Live Judges - (1st place=100 points, 2nd place = 90 points, 3rd place = 80 points, and so on...)

40% On-Line - A Facebook album with up to 10 photos from each entrant will be posted and voted on by the public (Most number of "likes" received - 1st place=100 points, 2nd place=90 points, 3rd place=80 points, and so on...)

1. Use of School Colors
2. Use of Theme
3. Demonstration of School Spirit
4. Originality and Creativity
5. Use of Space

Prizes:
Overall Grand Prize: Winner will be recognized with the School Spirit Trophy during the Homecoming football game on October 21st and receive a breakfast spread for their department! 
 
Best performance component: Wins a $50 gift card to Starbucks
