Join us as we celebrate 27 years of growth, leadership, and excellence of the Student Ambassador Program at the 2023 Ambassador Alumni Reunion Weekend!

Taking place during CMU's Homecoming Weekend, the Ambassador Reunion will blend the main events of Homecoming with some fun Ambassador gatherings.  Come experience the energy at CMU while re-connecting with old classmates and meeting the current Ambassadors.

Friday, October 20

4pm: Campus Tour - Admissions Welcome Center*
5:30pm: Homecoming Victory Dinner - University Center Meyer Ballroom 
8pm: HoCo Bonfire - Alumni Field*
9pm: Ambassador Nightcap Social - The Point in the University Center*


Saturday, October 21

9:30am: HoCo Parade - Downtown Grand Junction*
12pm: HoCo Alumni Zone Opens - CMU vs Adams State - Stocker Stadium - (RSVP Here)
1pm: HoCo Football Game vs. Adams State - Stocker Stadium - (Purchase Game Tickets)
6pm: Ambassador Reunion Banquet - Escalante Hall - Consider sponsoring a current Ambassador to attend!

Ambassador for Life Award
We invite you to nominate a fellow Ambassador alum who has never stopped being an Ambassador! If any of the bullet points below remind you of a fellow Ambassador alum, we encourage you to nominate them by October 6th. Please tailor your nomation to the following:

  • A CMU Maverick at heart, supports CMU everywhere they go. Remains an Ambassador for CMU day and night. 
  • Not afraid to advocate for those around them and continues to "sell" what they are passionate about to others. 
  • Always leading the charge and makes effort to create a new Mavily, whether its within an organization or a community.
  • Brings people up, brightens their day, and motivates them to be their very best, whatever the mission may be. 
  • Won't back down from a challenge, takes others with them and accomplishes goals. 


Ambassador Scholarship FundWe have established a fund for current ambassador students in collaboration with the admissions office staff to provide resources for Ambassadors who need that extra bit of help with housing or textbooks and fees. These funds also go towards sponsoring current Ambassadors in attending our Alumni Banquet on October 21st.
